Polyurethane adhesives vary greatly in their composition and application. What they all have in common, however, is that urethane groups are either already present or are created during use.
Polyurethane adhesive: A wide range of technologies
The product range of Bayer MaterialScience covers a multitude of technologies for the manufacture of polyurethane adhesives. Depending on the application and production process requirements, there is a wide range of suitable raw materials for solvent-based, water-based, 100% solid and hot melt systems available.
In addition, reactive adhesives, thermo-activatable adhesives, PU sealants and adhesives for wet-bond processes can also be produced using raw materials from Bayer MaterialScience.
