Industrial floors have to withstand extreme conditions

Industrial floors face particularly high stress day by day. They also must meet high occupational safety standards have to look well even in demanding conditions. Polyurethane systems have proven to be extremely reliable in this application. They show:
                  • Very good abrasion resistance
                  • Impact and pressure resistance
                  • Outstanding chemical resistance
                  • Good Light and weather resistance
                  • Jointless application, good crack bridging
                  • Good durability
Often 2mm self-leveling layers may be coated with suitable sealers or with pure thin film coatings, e.g. anti-dust coating systems. Get more on primers and sealers. For more information on electrically conductive systems our experts can provide recommendations.

Specialty: Industrial flooring for the food industry

Desmolith® technology is particularly interesting for floor coatings in the food industry: By mixing polyurethanes with cement and/or hydrated lime the carbon dioxide which is released when exposed to water is absorbed. These resulting coatings are extremely resistant to chemicals.
