Polyurethane dispersions for one- or multi-component coatings

The trade name Bayhydrol® stands for BayerMaterialScience’s dispersions that are suitable for one and two-component waterborne polyurethane coatings. This product range covers Bayhydrol® UH, which stands for "high molecular polyurethane dispersions (PUD), that result in high quality films even without any external crosslinker (one-component applications). With the addition of a Bayhydur® polyisocyanate crosslinker the mechanical and chemical resistance can yet be enhanced, though (two-component applications). These coatings exhibit a property profile comparable to solvent based coatings and in some properties they even show a superior performance.
