Sound insulation – Desmodur® / Desmophen® polyurethane systems for noise reduction

Compared to the traditionally used barite mats sprayable Desmodur®-/ Desmophen® based polyurethane systems for sound insulation have many economic and technical advantages:
                  • Weight reduction
                  • Application on vertical substrates possible
                  • Abrasion resistance
                  • Chemical resistance
                  • Leveling of structural unevenness of the car body surface
Vibration-insulating polyurethane sound deadening systems need only low temperatures for curing. This saves time as well as energy and makes the production process more economic. For this application we recommend environmentally friendly 2K polyurethane systems based on Desmodur® isocyanates and Desmophen® polyols without solvents or plasticizers.
