New development: Waterborne two-component polyurethane coatings – now for anti-corrosion applications also


Corrosion protection coatings based on waterborne two-component polyurethane technology are noted for their almost limitless flexibility in the choice of the binder components, formulations combined with the quality of the anti-corrosion properties (up to corrosion protection category C4 medium as per DIN EN 12944). In addition, these systems have excellent impact strength, which means they are suitable on difficult steel structures that are not torsionally rigid. These systems based on aqueous two-component polyurethane technology show strong advantages when it comes to productivity, especially through their ability to specifically influence the drying and curing properties. Rapid drying and recoatability are no problem.
